So, you want to turn your Nook Color into an Android tablet? It's pretty easy, it just involves many specific steps. First, If you brick (fry/kill/void) your Nook, no one but you is responsible. Really, it's all you chief. Got it? Good. Nothing you are doing should have any long term effect on your Nook, but hey its a crazy world, and stuff just happens sometimes. Second, get a MicroSD card, an inexpensive 4-8 GB card should be just fine. Make sure you have a good MicroSD reader (you can pick up a USB reader pretty cheap) as that was what thwarted me for an entire weekend. I used the integrated reader on a laptop, along with a SD to MicroSD adapter. As you read, you will find that the cheapo (class 4) cards work better than the expensive (class 10) cards. Read this when you have a moment, it's worth your time. Third, get an Android Market account. You will need this. Really, do it now. Fourth, read all of the information (how to's and such) *before* you start the process. Yes I know, seat of the pants is fun, but this is about the long term gain.
